SafeShunt™ Track Circuit Shunt / Short Circuit Device

The SAFETRACK® SafeShunt™ Track Circuit Shunts or Short Circuit Device is a very safe shunting device used to block a track section of the railway track circuits to give a "stop" condition to oncoming train. This to protect work teams or avoid collisions between oncoming trains and obstacles on the track.
The SafeShunt™ simulates the presence of a train. 

• Will not even release by a foot trip, thanks to a well thought-out design.
• The cable is double crimped to the clamp that is secured over the rail head.
• Fits most types of rail profiles.
• The tongs are easily fitted to the rail and have an excellent contact grip. Orange painted for good visibility.
