The mechanical power wrench IMC 1400 P has been designed to lock and unlock wrenches, bolts and nuts for anchoring the rail to the sleepers. The operator can select the tightening torque using a potentiometer located on the fairing of the machine, which is connected to an electronic board that controls an electromagnetic clutch, which disengages automatically as soon as the requested force is reached. The machine is equipped with an automatic speed change for unscrewing and the rotation of the spindle is set at maximum force to ensure the unscrewing also of the bolts heavely degradated by weathering and environmental conditions. Once unlocked the nut, a program automatically selects the strenght and the speed necessary to unscrew quickly the attacks.The inversion of the spindle rotation is possible thanks to an electrical switch located on the handle. These new concept machines have a combination of excellent properties such as operating speed, considerable unscrewing power, precise screwing torque, easy handling and strenght of all its components.
